Paper Advice
As much as a chosen inkjet printer choice is
important, selecting the right paper to use with your printer is also an important factor.
Without the right paper to use, one cannot possibly get the best out of a printer. Such
cases is reminiscent of a very fast racing car, but fitted with badly performing tyres.
Even if you have the best piece of equipment in the world, without the best periphery
available to support it, you cannot gain the best performance out of the equipment.
Therefore paper choice is an extremely important factor if you want to gain the best
output from your printer.

Obtaining Further Print
Quality & Overcoming Print Matching Problems
To get the best print quality out of a paper further and to reduce print-matching
problems, it is recommended your system should be calibrated and/or colour managed. Colour
Management is a solution where your printing system is entirely calibrated so as to be
able to print at the best quality. Apart from gaining better quality prints from a system
and the papers used, Colour Management also reduces colour matching problems at the time
of printing (ie. prints not matching the screen) and can help save both the time and money
spent on printing and wasted ink/paper.
Paperandinks are specialists in the area of Colour Management. We work alongside major
manufacturers such as GretagMacbeth and Epson on the implementation of digital colour
workflows in the home or studio from display and scanning all the way through to printing.
For information on our colour management products and services please call our Sales Team
on 020 7833 8384.
